Dwell (Birmingham) is to develop a major student accommodation scheme in central Birmingham.
Birmingham city council planners have granted consent for the tp bennett-designed, 520-bedroom scheme, on the site of the former Globe Works on Cliveland Street.
The site is located in a historic and industrial part of the city, 10 minutes north of the prime Colmore Row office pitch.
The scheme will comprise studios, two-bedroom apartments, and range of cluster apartments.
tp bennett is both architect and planning consultant on the scheme.
