DWS names real estate boss as head of UK

DWS has named Jessica Hardman its head of the UK, a post she will take alongside her existing roles as head of European portfolio management and head of the UK real estate group.

The promotion will mean Hardman becomes chief executive of DWS Investments UK and will join the group’s global leadership and investment leadership teams.

Hardman joined Deutsche Bank’s UK real estate transactions in 2004 and ran that division between 2013 and 2017, after which DWS was spun out as a separately listed company. She then became head of European portfolio management and the UK real estate group.

Hardman said: “The UK is not only one of the most important capital markets in the world, for DWS it is also a key location that provides access to a deep talent pool. With over 400 people working for DWS UK and with all principal investment capabilities represented here, the UK is a significant location for DWS.”
