Dyson argues for estuary airport

Sir James Dyson argues in The Mail on Sunday for the building of a new airport in the Thames Estuary.

He says Britain should create a £50bn airport that is “the envy of the world”. The Observer asks whether Britain, in fact, needs to join the race “to attract ever more air travellers”. One architect, Terry Farrell, says the proposed estuary airport that Lord Foster unveiled last week for Thames Hub, a four-runway airport on the Isle of Grain, in north Kent, is “on the wrong side of London for growth”.
