Sir James Dyson, the bagless vacuum cleaner maker, has bought a 3,000 acre estate in Lincolnshire, making him the largest landowner in England, ahead of the Queen.
Sir James has bought the Cranwell and Roxholme estate from the Crown Estate, bringing the size of his land portfolio to 25,000 acres, exceeding the Queen’s 20,000-acre Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.
