A joint venture between Ealing Council and Peabody has received planning consent for 564 flats at The Green in Southall, west London.
Ealing Council’s planning committee approved the plans on 20 October.
The scheme will see three blocks of flats of up to 19 storeys replace The Green car park.
Proposals include 51% affordable housing, comprising 157 London affordable rented homes and 112 shared-ownership, with 295 market-sale homes.
Ealing Council launched a search for a partner to redevelop The Green in 2017, selecting Peabody a year later. The pair aim to start on site by next autumn, with estimated completion in late 2025.
