Marks & Spencer has so far not disclosed which stores will be affected by the overhaul of its network, but so far closures have focused on high street locations.
The company does not have a big list of possible closures, chief executive Steve Rowe said. Things change, and the company is working to optimise footprint based on the opportunities that arise, he noted.
The overhaul will see a quarter of M&S clothing stores close or be relocated or remodelled.
