Eastlake Developments has started work on the 5,727.28 sq m (61,650 sq ft) speculative office development it is building at Meriden Business Park in the West Midlands.
The development will form the first phase of the £11m business park which is designed to capitalise on demand for office accommodation in South Birmingham and along the M42/A45 corridor.
The 2.53ha (6.27 acre) Meriden Business Park is close to the M42/M6 and near Birmingham International Airport. Some 1,432 sq m (15,412 sq ft) of office accommodation will be ready for occupation in July next year.
King Sturge & Co is appointed letting agent on Meriden Business Park.
