Low-cost airline EasyJet has said that Vinci, the French construction group, was in “cloud cuckoo land” if it expected to retain current airport charges at Luton airport, should its hostile bid for UK airports operator TBI succeed.
TBI’s board immediately rejected Vinci’s 90p a share cash offer on Wednesday.
