Marks & Spencer has secured a deal with Eco Restaurants to open an 11,700 sq ft food hall at 156-158 and 160-164 Clapham High Street.
Both properties are owned by Eco Restaurants.
Previously, 156-158 Clapham High Street was leased to Superdrug, while 160-164 Clapham High Street housed Eco’s own restaurant, which has since relocated to Venn Street, SW4.
M&S plans to merge the two shops into a single food hall, comprising 8,300 sq ft on the ground floor and 3,400 sq ft in the basement.
The lease agreement is set for a 20-year term.
This deal is part of M&S’s broader strategy to expand its food hall portfolio from 316 to 420 stores.
GCW advised the landlord, while FMX Urban Property Advisers represented M&S.
