Eddisons has acquired the UK’s largest auction house outside of London, Pugh & Co.
The company was acquired for £2m in cash from managing director Paul Thompson.
The auction house operates in Leeds and Manchester and offers more lots for sale than any other commercial house outside of London.
The acquisition will mean that Eddisons and Pugh will now trade under the name of Pugh with a combined team of 36 staff.
