He will be responsible for capital sourcing and cross-sector investment opportunities.

JLL’s living team combines student housing, co-living, build-to-rent and healthcare, and the new role will combine strategies with hospitality investment.

Eddy will work alongside Matthew Richards, chief executive of capital markets; Andrew Frost, EMEA living board sponsor; and Will Duffey, head of hotels and hospitality.

He joined JLL more than 20 years ago and sits on the EMEA capital markets advisory board.

Matthew Richards, chief of capital markets, EMEA, said: “With Jeremy’s appointment, we are strengthening our ability to advise our clients on their investment strategies and the opportunities they can access in times of heightened global uncertainty.”

Eddy added: “There has never been a more important time for us to help our clients reimagine the future of their portfolios and prepare for the recovery.”
