Hagley House, one of Edgbaston’s best-known office blocks, is to undergo a radical refurbishment and a change of name.
Landlord Patron Hagley a joint venture between Princeton Investments and Patron Capital plans to modernise the 73,000 sq ft tower, which overlooks Birmingham’s Broadway Plaza,
Hagley House, which dates from the 1960s, will be rebranded as Cobalt Square.
Completion of the internal refurbishment programme is scheduled for the end of the year.
Joint letting agents Grenville Smith & Duncan and KWB will be marketing the vacant upper seven floors at a rent of under £15 per sq ft.
Central Birmingham is currently experiencing a chronic shortage of offices.
