Edinburgh Council seeks development partner for £71m housing scheme

City of Edinburgh Council is looking to partner with a developer to bring forward a housing scheme on the site of the former Castlebrae High School on Greendykes Road.

The buildings have been demolished following the school’s relocation to a new community campus.

The 10.8-acre site is able to accommodate about 307 homes, of which 163 are expected to be private homes for sale and 144 affordable homes. The gross development value of the project is estimated to be around £70.6m.
