Educational institutions are currently searching for 492,000 sq ft of office space in London, according to Knight Frank.
It is the highest level of demand seen from the sector on record.
Knight Frank’s figures show that some 376,059 sq ft was signed for in the last 12 months – almost 20% above the annual long-term trend.
The new requirements will be welcomed by a wave of building owners grappling with lower occupancy levels post-Covid.
