London-based architect Edward Cullinan has been chosen by a public panel as the preferred master-planner for Crest Nicholson’s Canon’s Marsh site at Bristol’s Harbourside development. Edward Cullinan replaces Arup Associates, which was dropped from the scheme earlier this year after Bristol council rejected the architect’s second master-plan.
A public panel selected the team ahead of four other short-listed architects. A detailed public consultation process with regards to the site, including workshops and stakeholder meetings, will be carried out over the next few months.
Andrew Yates, of Crest Nicholson, said: “Crest is pleased to accept the decision of the public panel. We look forward to continuing to work with the people of Bristol and Edward Cullinan to develop the blueprint for the site.”
