Edward Symmons expands into Birmingham

Surveyor and valuer Edward Symmons & Partners has opened a Birmingham office -its ninth office overall.

The office is to be headed by partner Andrew Vaughan, who has been with the firm for more than 10 years, and has relocated from Bristol. He specialises in property valuation, agency and professional consultancy.

The office is at Queensway House, 57 Livery Street.

Vaughan said: “Though we have only just opened an office here, we have an established pedigree with the business community in the West Midlands, having already been involved in a number of projects.

“The hospitality and leisure team is currently instructed to market InterContinental Hotel Group’s Holiday Inn at Birmingham Airport, which has a guide price of £13m.”

Edward Symmons’ other current projects include the redevelopment of the 22,110 sq ft RIVA bingo site at Bath Row, Birmingham into 256 flats and the sale of a freehold site at Stonecross, Wednesbury, on offer at £2.5million.

Edward Symmons’s other eight offices are in London City, London West End, Bristol, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Plymouth and Southampton.
