The second annual Estates Gazette/ MIPIM UK Awards will be presented next month and our judges have selected a formidable shortlist.
From regeneration projects to initiatives that are making PRS happen, each of the finalists is making a real difference to the fabric of the UK’s built environment.
The awards will be presented at the second MIPIM UK, which takes place on 21, 22 and 23 October at London Olympia. The awards ceremony itself will take place on the evening of 22 October.

CITY LEADER OF THE YEAR
An award made by the EG editorial team, this category will recognise the UK’s most visionary city leader, an individual who has made the biggest difference to his or her local environment.
CITY OF THE YEAR
This award will celebrate the city that has moved on most substantially during the awards year. This award will go to the city that has produced the most tangible improvements to the public realm and has plans set in train for future improvements.
DISRUPTOR AWARD
This award will celebrate the individual from the public or private sectors who has made the biggest difference to the urban fabric of the UK.
COLLABORATORS AWARD
This award, supported by Mishcon de Reya, JLL and CRS, celebrates the people, buildings, events or coming together of bodies that have had a real impact on the built environment; a venture that through shared skills, beliefs, determination and or technology has created something that has had a notable positive effect on our industry.
