EG Awards: Have you got the knowledge?

EG-Awards-2015-THUMBAgents that can zero in on a market are important to companies which need the advice of people who know it inside-out.

It is hard to argue against a firm whose business not only understands a sector on a micro level, but masters it.

If that sounds like your firm, you should consider entering the Specialist Adviser of the Year category at this year’s EG Awards.

Last year’s winner, Burbage Realty, was the first logistics and industrial property consultant in the UK when established in 2003. It now proudly claims its trading style has been replicated globally.

The agency was up against fierce competition for the 2014 trophy, but its 9.7m sq ft of occupational transactions and involvement in major projects, such as the third phase of the Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal in Northamptonshire, dazzled the judges.

Entry criteria

You must be able to demonstrate that your business is specialist and has an annual turnover of less than £20m. This year, we want a “Twitter pitch” about why you should win the award. Then, in no more than 1,000 words, explain how you have excelled during the July 2014-July 2015 entry period. Package up your entry with testimonials and supporting material (optional) and then it’s in the judges hands. For a full run-down on entry criteria visit www.estatesgazette.com/awards.

Sponsor’s comment: CRS salutes the specialists

Conveyancing Risk Solutions is delighted to sponsor the Specialist Adviser of the Year category for the second year running.

CRS is itself a specialist firm, providing a variety of conveyancing-related insurance products designed to smooth out the process of property transactions in the UK.

Agents that can identify a niche, then not only hold their own against industry giants, but also perform exceptionally in providing a fit-for-purpose solution for their clients, deserve recognition, and that is why the importance of this award is compelling to us.

Supporting the Estates Gazette Awards also allows us to recognise greatness industry-wide and we are proud to be a part of it.

How to enter

All entries must be made online via www.estatesgazette.com/awards before 10 July.
