Exclusive EG data reveals that schemes in the inner London boroughs of Islington and Hackney take the longest to sell, averaging around 90 weeks for 10 to 20 unit projects.
This compares with around 15-25 weeks for schemes in Richmond, Kingston and Bexley.
The data is taken from the start of 2015, and reflects the time it takes from when schemes are first launched until they are fully sold.
The map below has layers with individual schemes listed, with click-through links to building records. Sites that have permission but have yet to start are also shown as potential opportunities, as well as those that have recently completed, for comparable evidence.
If you’re a developer looking for evidence of what the rest of the market is doing, and need data to inform decision making, get in touch. The following map shows schemes of just 10-20 units for a fair like-for-like comparison. If you’d prefer 25-50 units, again, get in touch.
