It is more important than ever that Manchester council continues to intervene in the market, on a prudent basis, council chief executive Sir Howard Bernstein has told EG.
Bernstein joined Tim Newns, deputy chief executive of Manchester’s inward investment company, MIDAS, plus Mark Rawstron and Simon Reynolds from GVA’s Manchester office to address around 75 guests at GVA’s Invest in Manchester event at One Moorgate Place in central London on Friday.
The event was one of a series that GVA is hosting in London in order to promote investment into regional cities.
