EGi signs up 1000th subscriber as property people get on-line

EGi, Estates Gazette’s electronic news and information service, has snapped up its 1,000th subscriber just over a year after it was launched.

Robin Johnson of Taylor & Co in Liverpool received a congratulatory bottle of champagne and a complimentary year’s subscription from EGi sales director Stewart Jones.

Johnson said: “We have started using EGi to obtain detailed information on towns where we are looking at developments. It’s even better that we are receiving this valuable information free.”

Internet awareness is growing fast within the property industry. EGi‘s publishing director, Jim Muttram, said: “This is a major milestone in EGi‘s development. There has been a 300% rise in the rate of net connections over the past year and we are proud to be involved in this significant advance and are working hard to keep up with demand.”

Jones added that interest is coming from all over the country and confirmed that EGi will be opening a Manchester office later this month.
