Tuesday

InterContinental Hotels Group will update its shareholders on its performance since the start of the second half of the year. The hotel operator signalled strong rebound in the second quarter over Q2 2024 which is expected to become a catalyst for its development activity across the globe.

Women’s fashion brand Sosandar will also shed light on its activity over the past quarter, as it continues to sign more stores across the UK. Most recently, it has chosen Metrocentre in Gateshead for its third store.

Liverpool City Council’s planning committee is minded to give the go-ahead for an 80-bedroom hotel opposite the new £500m Bramley-Moore Dock Everton Stadium. The scheme involves converting the existing Grade II listed warehouse at 15-17 Fulton Street, which had previously been used as art studios, and constructing an extension on the adjacent land, which is bounded by Regent Road, Blackstone Street and Fulton Street.

London Borough of Lewisham Council will review Barratt’s proposals for a 262-home scheme on the former Bell Green Gasworks site. The plans have been recommended for approval, having been withheld twice: most recently on 24 September and also on 22 May due to the unexpected timing of the General Election.

In addition, the council is expected to decide in favour of Tribe’s proposed 31-storey PBSA tower, comprising 502 bedrooms on the site of Scott House, SE8. The scheme also features 11,539 sq ft of office space.

Wednesday

Barratt Redrow, formerly known as Barratt Developments, will issue its first report on the progress of the business activity following its £2.5bn merger. The enlarged housebuilder has a target to deliver some 22,000 homes a year.

Bristol City Council will have Boultbee Brooks’ proposals on the table, seeking permission to bring forward an office-led redevelopment on Victoria Street. The planning officer has recommended approval for the five-storey, 84,000 sq ft building.

Thursday

Manchester City Council is expected to make a decision on Empiric Student Property’s proposals for the transformation of Victoria Point. The redevelopment, which would increase the number of beds to 876 from 561, has been recommended for approval.

City of York Council will review Helmsley Group’s plans to regenerate part of the city centre and revitalise a neglected section of the River Ouse. The Coney Street masterplan, spanning 250,000 sq ft of retail, leisure, commercial and residential space, is recommended for approval.

Friday
