Eircom has gone to market seeking an €180m sale and leaseback of its nine-storey headquarters, currently under construction beside Heuston station in Dublin.
Osprey Property, the telecommunications supplier’s property development arm, has instructed Jones Lang LaSalle on the 210,500 sq ft office block.
The deal would see Eircom pay around €8m in annual rent under a long lease, freeing up capital for the group to reinvest in its core business.
The building is located in the Heuston Framework Development Area, bounded by St John’s Road, Military Road and the Royal Hospital Kilmainham.
Eircom, Ireland’s leading telecommunications supplier, has revenues in excess of €1.7bn.
