Singapore-listed Elite UK REIT has filed plans to convert Lindsay House, a former government workspace in a Dundee central business district, into a 168-bed student accommodation scheme with a GDV of £22m. Lindsay House is a five-storey building that previously served as an office for the Department for Work and Pensions.
Currently, the building is vacant and planning application filed by Elite UK claims “it detracts from the function of the Dundee City Centre”. The proposed plans include communal facilities, including study spaces, a cinema and a gym, as well as 24 internal cycling spaces on the building’s ground floor.
The development will be operated by mys Living.
