Empiric has appointed Martin Ratchford as the chair of its audit committee.
Ratchford will join the board as an independent non-executive director on 1 October, following the conclusion of a comprehensive recruitment process supported by external consultants.
Jim Prower will resign as a director on the same day, after seven years with the student housing specialist.
Since June 2018, Ratchford has held the post of CFO for the UK arm of £21bn Singapore-listed Frasers Property. Previously he worked at Unite Group and British Land, and as finance director of real estate and funds at Thomas Cook.
