Empiric Student Property has exchanged on a Portsmouth development for £4.45m.
The former Portsmouth Land Registry building on St Michael’s Road is being converted into a 41-bed student accommodation block, to be known as the Registry.
The site is 85% prelet and Empiric will receive 100% of the rent, guaranteed by developer REL Portsmouth.
The Registry is expected to be completed in September 2015, ready for the 2015/16 academic year.
