Empiric Student Property has bought the freeholds of five student accommodation schemes from CityBlock for £25.6m.
The schemes are located in Lancaster and Leicester and total 381 beds.
CityBlock will continue to operate the properties on behalf of Empiric.
The company has also purchased a forward funding development in Huddersfield for £11m.
The development, named Oldgate House, is to become a 179 bed student accommodation scheme.
Forshaw Land and Property Group are to redevelop the scheme on behalf of Empiric.
Paul Hadaway, chief executive of Empiric Student Property, said of the Huddersfield deal: “Oldgate House is ideally located both for the university and local amenities and we expect the scheme to generate attractive returns in line with our stated investment parameters.”
