Enfield Council adds 21 acres to Meridian Water masterplan

Enfield Council has bought a 21-acre development site for its £6bn Meridian Water masterplan from a client of LaSalle Investment Management for more than £70m.

The site, known as Urban Logistics.London, includes a long leasehold industrial estate and a further four acres of greenbelt land.

It will be part of the 210-acre Meridian Water regeneration, which is expected to deliver 10,000 homes and 6,700 jobs over the next 20 years.

Work on Meridian Water started in January, with Barratt and SEGRO heading it as development partners.

Specialist development and asset manager Fairacre Property advised LaSalle.
