The director of property and economy at Enfield Council is leaving the role as part of a restructure at the local authority.
Mark Bradbury said in a social media post that the council’s priorities have “changed to a focus on planning and private sector housing delivery” and that his role would no longer exist as a result.
He added that he is now considering a move back into the private sector.
A spokesman for the council said: “Enfield Council does not comment on individual posts involved in a restructure which is still ongoing.”
Bradbury joined the council in late 2018, tasked with creating a division to oversee property and asset management, facilities management, construction, capital project management and economic development.
