English National Opera has a 100,000 sq ft requirement for a production and office facility in London.
It has appointed Lambert Smith Hampton on the sale of its current West Hampstead base and search for new premises. LSH’S building consultancy team will project manage the construction of the new site.
ENO took up residence in its current base in 1975. Due to expansion and the need for modern facilities, it is expected to move into its new home in 2023.
Karen Watson, chief operating officer at ENO, said: “We are keen that our facilities can allow us to cater for our needs so that we can continue to produce groundbreaking work and attract new audiences to opera.
“We are looking forward to working with LSH as we search for a new rehearsal and production centre.”
