English Partnerships’ plans for a new 1,310-home neighbourhood in Tattenhoe Park, Milton Keynes, have moved closer with a “resolution to grant planning permission” from the Milton Keynes Partnership’s planning sub-committee.
The resolution comes 14 weeks after the application, which aims to develop the last ‘grid square’ to the west of the city, was lodged with the partnership.
The masterplan for the area also includes 20,000 sq ft of retail and commercial space, together with a hotel, school and pub.
It aims to provide a high quality townscape with a variety of spaces and neighbourhoods that are well connected and easy to navigate.
Savills provided planning advice to English Partnerships.
