Investment group Enic has moved into themed restaurants and retailingthrough a deal with Time Warner, the giant US media group.
Enic is paying £29.6m for an 80% stake in Warner Brothers StudioStores, the business which runs the 10 Warner Brothers stores in the UK.It is also entering into a joint venture to run Warner Brothers’ themedrestaurants, in which it is investing £12m.
Enic has Joe Lewis, a reclusive billionaire, as a major backer.
