German-owned plastics company Ensinger has bought a 13 acre site at Parc Eirin, near Tonyrefail, South Wales, from the Welsh Development Agency for an undisclosed figure.
The company is to invest £5m in a new 60,000 sq ft factory, replacing the firm’s existing 23,000 sq ft unit at Llantrisant Park.
Ensinger’s move will kick off development at Parc Eirin, where the WDA is spending £1m on a new road access and is planning mixed use development on the remaining 40 acres.
