EP appoints Miller Homes for Chorley scheme

English Partnerships has selected Miller Homes as preferred developer for 149 homes in Eaves Green, Chorley, Lancashire.

Outline planning has been granted for the scheme on a 16.1-acre site, which includes two-bedroom apartments and 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes and a village green.

The development is English Partnerships’ first in Lancashire.

Lance Houghton, head of sales at English Partnerships said: “The transfer of ownerships of this previously undeveloped site to Miller Homes, will provide much needed homes for local residents, contributing to both local and national housing targets.”

The scheme will complete the final phase of development at Eaves Green, which includes the opening of the new Eaves Green Link Road, the final stretch of the Chorley Western Bypass, which opened in autumn 2007 and was funded through section 106 payments.
