Frontier Estates and Atterbury Village Consortium have been chosen by English Partnerships to develop the 55ha (136 acre) first phase of Broughton Atterbury in Milton Keynes.
Frontier is developing the 9,290 sq m (100,000 sq ft) first phase of the 23,690 sq m (255,000 sq ft) energy-efficient Atterbury Lakes office scheme, while the consortium is developing 134 homes in the first phase of an urban village which will total 750 homes when complete in 2005.
Atterbury Village Consortium is made up of Bloor Homes, McAlpine Homes, The Guinness Trust and North British Housing Association.
As well as including the existing hamlet of Broughton, the site incorporates land partly reclaimed from gravel workings.
