US private equity fund Carlyle and Bride Hall have put their Epsom shopping centre on the market.
The pair are seeking £17.5m – a 6.6% yield – for the Ashley Centre in Surrey.
The 311,500 sq ft mall is let to tenants including House of Fraser, Marks & Spencer, Waitrose and Boots.
The move comes six years after Carlyle and Bride Hall bought the 200,000 sq ft Mall Edgware in north London, the 232,000 sq ft Mall Chester in Cheshire and the Ashley Centre from the Mall Fund.
Momentum has been growing in the shopping centre investment market this year. UK mall transaction volumes reached £2.7bn during the first half – a 22% increase on the equivalent period last year, according to DTZ.
Strutt & Parker and Cushman & Wakefield are acting.
