Swedish private equity firm EQT has hired two more staff from Wainbridge as it continues its push into real estate investment.
The pair join partners Edouard Fernandez and Rob Rackind who made the move from Wainbridge in February.
Jonathan Hardie has been hired as a director of EQT Real Estate. Previously he was head of asset management at Wainbridge and joins with over 27 years of experience in real estate. In addition to his time at Wainbridge, Hardie had also worked for Westbrook Partners and Haslemere Estates.
Joining him as an associate from Wainbridge will be Sam Childerstone. Childerstone has a total of six years’ experience in real estate and is a RICS member.
In addition, Axel Masucci has moved over from the EQT’s infrastructure arm, where was a director in the Munich Office.
The appointments mark the further development of a real estate investment capability at EQT.
The company has yet to make an investment in any of its target countries across Europe.
