Equitas says it has settled more than $200m (£106m) of asbestos claims with four policy holders.
The reinsurance vehicle said the agreements settled all asbestos and other liability claims from the four groups against certain Lloyd’s of London underwriters.
Equitas effectively assumed all Lloyd’s pre-1993 asbestos and environmental liabilities.
