Michael Elliott and JLL have launched the freehold sale of a prime piece of Soho property just down the road from Liberty’s iconic store.
The property at 54 and 55-57 Great Marlborough Street, which is owned by Quadrum Global, comes with planning approval for an Eric Parry-designed four-star, 118-room hotel with a public restaurant and bar, two retail units and terrace on the top floor.
The plans increase the current 44,149 sq ft of space available to 63,400 sq ft at the two adjoining twentieth century buildings. Both are currently vacant, bar the leasing of the lower ground floor to a substation for London Power Networks.
In 2016 a planning consent was granted for a residential-led redevelopment at the site to provide 27 luxury apartments.
