Credit Suisse has added Sinem Erol-Aziz to its real estate lending team to assist with the underwriting of new business.
Erol-Aziz will work under Derek Rich, head of real
estate origination at the Swiss bank.
She has joined the business following a career at Deutsche Bank and GE Capital, where she worked on the underwriting of a £1.3bn loan portfolio from Deutsche Postbank and the structuring of a loan-on-loan portfolio from Nationwide for a US private equity firm.
She started her real estate career in 2002 at Deutsche Bank and previously worked with Rich there. At the bank Erol-Aziz was involved in the analysis and structuring of real estate debt, including securitisations.
She is understood to have joined Credit Suisse on a con-sultancy basis, helping to analyse more complex deals.
