Erotic Triangle not Parisian

Plans for a new skyscraper, dubbed the Triangle Tower, in the centre of the Paris have angered conservatives who say it has no place in the city.

Councillors will today vote to authorise the building of the tower, which, if built, will be one of three skyscrapers in the centre of the city, the others being the Montparnasse tower and the Eiffel Tower.

The 590ft tower, dubbed the ‘erotic triangle’ by some, would require an exemption from the blanket ban on tall buildings, which restricts them to the business quarter of La Défense.
