Erwin joins CBRE to lead client relationships

Former Cushman & Wakefield director David Erwin is joining CBRE as an executive director with responsibility for strategically managing and developing client relationships.

In his new role, Erwin will work closely with senior leadership at a select group of the firm’s top investor clients and with CBRE’s dedicated client account teams.

Erwin was chief executive of capital markets and a UK board member at Cushman & Wakefield until 2015 and has more than 30 years’ transactional and fund management experience in UK real estate investment. Over the past two years, he has advised some of the UK’s leading property companies on several high-profile transactions on behalf of consultancy Dunluce Property, of which he was a founding partner.

CBRE UK managing director Ciaran Bird said: “It is imperative that we give our clients a significant competitive advantage by working in partnership and providing expertise and market intelligence from across our unrivalled platform. David is highly regarded throughout the industry and his wealth of experience and excellent client relationships means he is ideally placed to provide strong and strategic client account leadership and to ensure we continue to deliver a world class service to our key clients.”

Erwin added; “Being offered this opportunity to join the market-leading advisor in the UK for such a key role was too good to let pass and I look forward to working with its many experts across all service lines and geographies to enrich and develop long term relationships with a select group of top clients.”
