Essential Living has sold the affordable housing element of its Farrier House development on Three Colts Lane, Bethnal Green, to Peabody.
It is the developer’s first deal with a registered provider. Peabody will take 45 homes at the Bethnal Green development.
The affordable housing will sit alongside the 104 homes built specifically for private rent by Essential Living.
Farrier House is on the same street as Peabody’s award-winning Mint Street development and is less than a mile from the first estate built by Peabody, which opened in Spitalfields in 1864.
