Tuesday
Stoke-on-Trent City Council is expected to approve the appointment of Capital & Centric as development partner for the Spode site. Following the approval, Capital & Centric will secure up to £6.5m of Levelling Up funding to deliver further work on the site, including preparation of the site, landscaping, demolition of buildings with no heritage value as well as the development of residential buildings, all subject to planning and other permissions.
City of Westminster Council is set to approve Grosvenor‘s plans for the redevelopment of the Ebury Gate office building in Belgravia, SW1. The scheme returns to the planning committee, having been withdrawn from consideration earlier this year amid concerns raised by Transport for London relating to Crossrail 2.
Greenwich Council’s planning committee will decide on Tribe Ravensbourne’s proposed redevelopment of an existing 27,282 sq ft office into 598-bedroom PBSA tower. The developer plans to keep 2,465 sq ft of workspace across the 13 and 17-storey blocks.
In addition, the committee has been recommended to grant a hybrid application to developer Sattar to bring forward 358 homes, of which 35% will classify as affordable, alongside 14,000 sq ft of commercial space. The proposed neighbourhood will sit on a 2.6-acre site known as Flint Glass Wharf.
Wednesday
Edinburgh City Council’s planners have recommended the approval of a 109-bedroom hotel and restaurant on a site between the existing Cameron Toll shopping centre and Liberton Road. The proposal is being brought forward by Luxemburg-based developer Lady Road Investment.
Thursday
Build-to-rent provider Watkin Jones will report its interim results. Last month, the company said it has a potential to deliver strong results thanks to its development pipeline.
Friday
The latest UK house price data from Nationwide Building Society will be revealed. In April, the annual average house price rose by 3.4% to £270,752. On a monthly basis, house prices went down 0.6%.
