Europa completes £800m of transactions

Euros-THUMB.jpegEuropa Capital completed more than €800m (£605m) of transactions throughout 2015.

The majority of the transactions have been conducted on behalf of Europa Capital’s Fund IV, which was closed in 2014.

The transactions mark the near completion of investments from the €1bn fund and were in the key sectors of office, retail industrial and residential.

The countries invested in included the Netherlands, France, Spain, Denmark, Czech Republic, Hungary and the UK.

Europa began to raise its fifth European real estate fund the Europa Fund V, in September. The target for the new fund is believed to be about €750m with the business targeting new and existing investors across Europe and Asia.

Jason Oram, partner at Europa Capital, said: “We anticipate maintaining sales momentum from existing funds, completing the acquisitions programme for Fund IV and moving onto the successor fund over the course of 2016.”
