Europa Capital has poached AEW Europe’s head of investor relations, Schalk Visser, to head its equity capital markets team.
Visser joins the European investor as a partner to manage relationships with institutions globally following the launch of a fifth €750m (£551m) pan-European, value-focused fund and the ongoing capital raising for the UK-focused mezzanine debt fund.
Previously Visser had been on the executive committee of AEW Europe, and was responsible for the investor relations team.
He has also been a senior director at CBRE Global Investors.
