Europe’s airports could close within days because moves to bolster their war risk insurance following the terrorist attacks on the US are running out.
The emergency cover by Governments will come to an end leaving “airport operators with little choice but to consider it impossible to continue to operate on such a basis,” according to the Airports Council International.
