Developer Evans of Leeds has let a 172,000 sq ft industrial unit near Bolton, Greater Manchester.
The letting is on the refurbished Unit 1 of the 6/61 scheme close to junction 6 of the M61 at Blackrod.
Georgia Pacific has taken the unit on a five-year lease at £3.50 per sq ft.
David Brooks, head of industrial at King Sturge’s Manchester office, which acted jointly for Evans, said: “The fact that this unit has already been let shows the strength of the market in this prime location.”
Units 2 and 3 at 6/61 are still available at £3.75 per sq ft on five-year terms.
Unit 2 comprises 61,600 sq ft and unit 3 is 16,000 sq ft.
