Future of TMT in spotlight at Summit
Hundreds of the property industry’s finest gathered in London for the second annual London Property Summit last month.
Held at the Queen Elizabeth II conference centre in Westminster – and staged by Movers & Shakers with London First – the event attracted a first-class line-up of speakers.
Estates Gazette editor Damian Wild chaired a session on the future of TMT – with Derwent’s Paul Williams, Argent’s David Partridge and, by video, Google’s Matt Brittin – while planning minister ?Nick Boles and Labour London spokesman Sadiq Khan bookended the day’s discussions.

Riders carry Banner for cancer charity
A Banner Homes team enjoyed perfect weather as they embarked on a gruelling charity cycle from London to Paris.
The MAMILs (middle-aged men in Lycra) included Ross McArthur, Steve Rule, Marc Coulon and Piers Banfield from Banner Homes, Paul Hamilton from Towelrads.com and Mick Philpot from Philpot & Co. They raised more than £16,000 for Cancer Research UK.
As well as their professional connections, each of the riders had been touched in some way by cancer.
