Dunloe House won control of Ewart, courtesy of the chairman of thetarget company. Brian O’Connor sold his 16% stake in Ewart to giveDunloe 51.2% of the company.
A battle for the company broke out when Moyne, a Northern Irelandconsortium, made a bid which was supported by the Ewart board.
O’Connor sold his holding to Dunloe against the recommendations ofEwart’s advisers and the majority of his fellow directors.
